Erin Snyder, LPC-A
Erin has come to the discipline of psychodynamic psychotherapy as a mid-life career transitioner with an eclectic professional background in Montessori education, tech sales and marketing, and corporate management. Her life experience in both personal and professional endeavors allows her to connect with the experiences of her clients in a deeply empathic and supportive way.
Erin's approach to psychotherapy combines techniques from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based perspectives. She began supervision with Dr. Cox while enrolled in a truly excellent psychodynamic counseling master's program at Northwestern University, and her undergraduate degree is from the University of Texas at Austin. During her two and a half year internship under Dr. Cox, she has earned a special reputation as an extremely effective couple's counselor as well as a deeply attuned and insightful individual therapist.
